The Blues is coming to Lo’s Backyard!!

SISTA JEAN & CB make no bones about what they want to play and sing about. Whether it’s Americana, Blues, Rock, R&B, or Jazz, their stories come in many colors and rhythms. Influenced by the West Coast Sound, their presence is amazing.

Sista Jean (Ms. Jean McClain) started as a BGV singer for the studios in Los Angeles more than 20 years ago and still has the fire inside to groove with the best in the business, recording with Mick Jagger, Lenny Kravitz, Peter Frampton, Cher’s “If I Could Turn Back Time,” Michael Bolton’s “Love Is A Wonderful Thing” and “Forever Isn't Long Enough. The list keeps going including; Celine Dion’s “ If You Asked Me To” All hits!!

Jean has also toured with the likes of the queen; Tina Turner, Bobby Caldwell, Hugh Laurie (House fame) and so many others.

Sista Jean’s co-partner is guitarists extraordinaire; Carlyle Barriteau (Bar-eh-toe). Aside from being a great player, singer, and writer in his own right, Carlyle is an “in-demand” musician, having toured with Chaka Khan, Rickie Lee Jones, Patti Austin, Bobby Caldwell, Taylor Dane, Sheena Easton and is currently on tour with Mr. Peabo Byson, but he’s making a stop to hang out in Lo’s Backyard.
